Discussed here are the various forms of events and the rules of them that we practice in the Brothers of War
An operation is a battle between two opposing sides; these can be In House Operations (IHOs) in which the attending members of BOW will be split into two teams to fight against each-other; or an operation against another MILSIM, which can be either a friendly Op or an Op as part of a war between BOW and the opposing MILSIM.
Scenario Operations may also take place, which may include the use of certain types of (otherwise prohibited) weapons, vehicles, civilians or, in some cases, a hostage and a negotiation team.
Rules of Engagement
These are the rules that MUST be followed in standard ops, however may be altered in scenario ops.
NO FLIR OR IRNV SCOPE OR GADGET
NO SHOTGUNS/SNIPER RIFLES/LOCK ON MISSILES/TOW MISSILES
NO BATTLEFIELD PICKUP WEAPONS
NO VEHICLES (MANNED OR UNMANNED)
NO TARGET DETECTORS
NO PHANTOM BOWS
NO ELAVATORS OR ANY ROOF THAT DOES NOT HAVE LADDERS OF STAIRS
The amount of Mortars/DMRs/LMGs per team will be given at the beginning of each op.
There are 2 types of training sessions in BOW, each with their own important purpose. Trainings MUST be announced 24 hours ahead of schedule in order to be put onto the events list, otherwise the server may be double booked.
Qualification Trainings are trainings held by Drill Instructors in BOW in order to qualify the trainees in certain aspects of the clan. Basic Training qualifies as a mandatory QT, however all other QTs (BL/DMR/Mortar/LMG/AI Training) are optional, that being said, LMG Training, Mortar Training and AIT are all necessary in order to be promoted to and past the rank of Specialist, and BL training is necessary in being promoted past the rank of Corporal.
Development trainings are trainings usually held by platoon leaders or squad leaders in order to improve the quality of the men in BOW. The details of these trainings are devised by the instructor either on the day or in preparation for the training, however there is no fixed guideline on how to conduct a DT.
Public Recruitment Server Rules

No vehicle stealing
